OMEGA-3 MEASUREMENT IN BREAST MILK
Breast Milk Sensor
The Breast Milk Sensor provides information about the content of omega-3 fatty acids in breast milk and shows how this can be specifically increased.

In the first months of life, babies are wholly dependent on their mother’s milk to provide them with sufficient energy and nutrients. If this is not the case, developmental disorders often occur, which in the worst case can lead to permanent health problems.
In addition to many other factors, the content of omega-3 fatty acids plays an essential role in this context.
Omega-3 fats are vital unsaturated fatty acids needed in the human body for numerous processes. The body itself cannot produce them and, therefore, must be supplied through food.
If breast milk contains too few omega-3 fatty acids, it can harm the baby’s health and affect, among other things, the development of the brain and vision. Since existing effects can no longer be eliminated, it is crucial to ensure an optimal supply of omega-3 fats from breast milk in good time.
For our Breast Milk Sensor, our laboratory carries out an examination of the sample sent in. We check the mother’s milk for its content of omega-3 fats.
It enables us to determine reliably whether this is sufficient to supply the infant with these vital fatty acids and to ensure healthy development.
After successful analysis, we summarize the test results in a written evaluation and, based on the measured values, give a recommendation for the correct amount to be taken, which should be reached with suitable foods or dietary supplements.
In this way, our Breast Milk Sensor can make a valuable contribution to preventing infant health problems caused by an inadequate supply of omega-3 fatty acids.
After a successful analysis, we summarize the individual results in a detailed result report. You will also find information on the analyzed genes and the underlying science in this demo.
We would be happy to send you the demo report. Just send us an email with the name of the analysis.
