The pregnancy sensor provides information on the extent to which genetic variations during pregnancy represent a risk.
Pregnancy is an exciting time for expectant parents, often marked not only by anticipation but also by numerous fears. After all, the child should be born healthy, and the pregnancy should be as problem-free as possible for the mother.
Unfortunately, however, every pregnancy also involves risks that can affect both the expectant mother and the unborn child. These include, for example, common complaints such as gestational diabetes or possible miscarriages.
Many people are unaware of how significant the influence of genetic factors is on the course of a pregnancy. In fact, genes play a vital role in determining whether pregnancy complications occur.
Therefore, a corresponding genetic analysis can help to identify individual risks and take the right countermeasures at an early stage so that problems during pregnancy can be avoided more easily.
For our Pregnancy Sensor, our laboratory performs an extensive analysis of the sample sent in. Nine relevant genetic variations are examined with regard to possible pregnancy complications.
Based on the findings, the risks for pre-eclampsia, venous thrombosis, and gestational diabetes can be determined. In addition, genetic analysis can help to determine the probability of miscarriage and developmental disorders of the fetus.
After a successful analysis, we summarize the test results in a comprehensive written evaluation. Also, we give individual recommendations for medically monitored prevention.
In this way, our pregnancy sensor can make a valuable contribution to the early detection of pregnancy complications and help to reduce possible risks.
After a successful analysis, we summarize the individual results in a detailed result report. You will also find information on the analyzed genes and the underlying science in this demo.
We would be happy to send you the demo report. Just send us an email with the name of the analysis.
