The Cardiovascular Sensor provides information about individual risks for cardiovascular diseases and supports patients in prevention.
Problems with the cardiovascular system are widespread and lead to complaints in more and more people. Depending on the type of disease, they can lead to permanent impairment and, in the worst case, can even be life-threatening.
A number of risk factors can lead to cardiovascular diseases. These include obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, excessive alcohol consumption, and smoking.
In addition to the factors mentioned above, which can largely be attributed to an unhealthy lifestyle, genetic predisposition also plays a role in the development of cardiovascular diseases.
Several genes can considerably increase the risk of problems with the cardiovascular system. An appropriate analysis of the genes relevant in this context is, therefore, often useful and can help to identify a potential hazard at an early stage.
For our Cardiovascular Sensor, our laboratory performs a comprehensive analysis of the sample sent in. We are investigating more than 18 different genetic variants associated with the development of cardiovascular diseases.
In addition, we are investigating how the genetic characteristics of the patient affect the efficacy of 117 relevant drugs.
Once the analysis has been successfully completed, we summarize all the test results in a written report and supplement it with individual recommendations for prevention.
In this way, our Cardiovascular Sensor can make an essential contribution to the early detection of cardiovascular diseases and help to reduce existing risks by adapting lifestyle effectively.
The DNAhealth Control analyzes are not offered by Novogenia.
After a successful analysis, we summarize the individual results in a detailed result report. You will also find information on the analyzed genes and the underlying science in this demo.
We would be happy to send you the demo report. Just send us an email with the name of the analysis.
