EARLY DETECTION OF INFLAMMATORY JOINT DISEASES

The Joint Sensor uses genetic analysis to show whether there is an increased risk of inflammatory diseases of the joints and helps to prevent them.
The Joint Sensor uses genetic analysis to show whether there is an increased risk of inflammatory diseases of the joints and helps to prevent them.
There is a large number of inflammatory joint diseases, some of which can occur at a young age, that are often associated with a severe loss of quality of life for those affected.
Severe cases can, over time, lead to a progressive impairment of mobility or even physical disabilities. Since healing is usually not possible, early diagnosis of inflammatory diseases of the joints is particularly important.
A malfunction of the immune system causes inflammations in the joints. The immune system erroneously classifies parts of the joint as a threat and tries to combat them.
The patient’s genetic predisposition largely determines the probability of inflammatory joint diseases. An analysis of the relevant genes can, therefore, help to identify risks at an early stage and counteract them in good time.
As part of our Joint Sensor, our laboratory carries out a genetic analysis. The gene variants relevant in connection with joint inflammation are investigated. In addition, we are investigating the influence of the patient’s genetic profile on the effect of 56 different drugs.
In this way, we can assess the individual risk of developing inflammatory joint diseases and, if necessary, recommend appropriate preventive measures.
After a successful examination of the submitted sample, we prepare a written report with our test results and concrete recommendations for action based on the results.
In this way, our Joint Sensor can make a valuable contribution to early diagnosis and effective prevention.
The DNAhealth Control analyzes are not offered by Novogenia.
After a successful analysis, we summarize the individual results in a detailed result report. You will also find information on the analyzed genes and the underlying science in this demo.
We would be happy to send you the demo report. Just send us an email with the name of the analysis.
